Hanauma Bay Hike

Aloha everyone, this week I like to introduce Hanauma Bay Hike & Hidden Rock Bridge

 Difficulty: ★☆☆☆☆

Distance: a short hike

Duration: 2-3 hours

Elevation Gain: Steep

Recently, I have went there with my friends, we parked in Hanauma Bay parking for a $1 fee per car.
Even thought it is illegal, but there were numerous hikers and we started almost 10 o'clock

The start of the trail is located right next to the Hanauma Bay entrance by Bus Stop. You just have through the gate and go the way up.

There has many paths that you can take and we chose go a short distance which is directly reach the end. However, it was more slippery and dangerous. (The entrance is when you walk half way of the road and check your left side, you will see the path.)

You would see the different views of Hanauma Bay

(Worth it)

The bridge is a little bit hard to find, because it is covered by grass when we went there, so if you see it is not path to go, you need to go down the rock to check it.

Luckily, I stood on the bridge. Last time, I did not stand on there because of wave.  ( I suggest you better to hike in morning at 6/7 because we started almost 10 o'clocka and it was very very hot when we returned!!! So, you should bring a lot of water) and if you choose to go there morning you could see the beautiful sunrise. 😝

  2. This hike looks like so much fun!! Thank you for sharing this hike with us! I have been looking for a fairly easy hike to try because I haven't done much besides the Makapu'u lighthouse trail and the Hau'ula trails. I'm looking forward to attempting this hike on spring break hopefully :)
