Aloha, everyone~ I will like to introduce one of the most easy hiking in Oahu. " Diamond head State Monument"
Diamond Head
Difficult: ★☆☆☆☆
Distance: Short
Hours spending: 30 - 60 minutes
Open hours: Daily 6:00 a.m. to 6:00p.m, every day of the year including holidays
Address: Diamond Head Rd, Honolulu, HI 96815, near by Kapiolani Community College.
History: It is a volcanic cone with highest vertical height reaching 762 feet summit of the Diamond top. It is un-active volcanic. From the top you can look the Pacific Ocean. The crater is 3,520 feet in diameter, encompassing 350 acres of space.
What should you bring ?
Personally, you can bring a bottle water, sunscreen, knapsack, hat, wear athletic shoes phone and selfie stick!! if you do not have camera.
Interesting: Perhaps, you could find a diamond of your own! or if you interesting in Geology, you could find the volcanic rock.
I will no explain the process of the Diamond Head because you can just take this short hiking and please enjoy your process of hiking.
